Stanislaw Lee is a Polish-born Israeli author and journalist. He has lived in Israel since 1971 and his work reflects his deep love for the country and the Jewish people. He is a former soldier and served as a combat medic in the Six-Day War. He began writing in Hebrew in the 1970s, and his first novel, A Soldier's Daughter, was published in 1973
His subsequent novels include The Yom Kippur War (1978), The Sabra and Shatila Massacre (1982), Jerusalem (1983), The Mission (1985), The Seventh Day (1987), and The Forgotten Soldier (1988).
